    Genesis 45:1-5

“Then Joseph said to his brothers, ‘Come closer to me.’ And they came closer. He said, ‘I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. And now do not be distressed, or angry with yourselves, because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life.’” (vv. 4-5)

    Genesis 44:1-34

“And Judah said, ‘What can we say to my lord? What can we speak? How can we clear ourselves? God has found out the guilt of your servants...’” (v. 16a)

    Genesis 41:53 – 42:6

“Now Joseph was governor over the land; it was he who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph’s brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground.” (Genesis 42:6)

    Matthew 25:14-30

“Master, I knew that you were a harsh man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed; so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is yours.” (vv. 24-25)

    Genesis 37:3-28

“Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his children, because he was the son of his old age; and he had made him a long robe with sleeves. But when his brothers saw that his father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably to him.” (vv. 3-4)
