Circuit worker meetings
Category: Children & Families
The Circuit youth and children’s worker forums meet on a regular basis to address the needs of volunteer youth and children’s workers within the Chester Circuit.
The sessions seek to; communicate information, be an encouragement, provide an opportunity to meet with other workers, resource individuals in their roles, as well as providing an opportunity for a degree of reflective practice. Each meeting focuses on a relevant topic.
They are not a meeting for "experts" but simply those who want to grow in their knowledge and understanding of issues around youth and children’s work. Next meeting: to be arranged.
First UP
Category: Children & Families
It’s a new interactive Sunday gathering restricted to people aged 0 to 99. It’s an unpredictable mix of stories, jokes, music, crafts, video, puppets, quizzes, coffee, juice and croissants. It’s held in the hall at 9.30am on the second Sunday (May 11th, June 8th etc.) and runs for about 30 minutes. Oh yes, and it’s officially the fun way to start a Sunday!
Help and healing: prayer and support
Category: Spirituality
We gather every Thursday at 11am to offer prayer and support for help and healing in an atmosphere of stillness and music. Anyone can come along needing prayer for others or for themselves, to be supported or to help others through hard times.
We welcome your prayer requests on prayer@wesleychester.co.uk
